Austin, Texas, uses three International Diesel power units, two UD-18A's and one UD-9, and an International Diesel TD-18 crawler tractor in operating this Barber Greene hot-mix plant which furnishes material for an army project near Camp Hood, Texas. In this photo the power units are shown in action. The mixer is handled by a UD-18A with a UD-9 operating the dust collector and the second UD-18A power the drier, conveyor and screen. |
