Chief Black Hawk Statue

Sculpted by Lorado Taft, and dedicated in 1911, this statue of a Native American man wrapped in a blanket stands 48 feet tall and was originally named "The Eternal Indian." Later, the statue was dubbed Chief Black Hawk by the locals. The statue is located in a park and a man is leaning on the statue's pedestal. |
