Deering Works Seen from Waterfront
International Harvester's Deering Works as seen from railroad tracks near the waterfront. The factory was located at Fullerton and Clybourn Avenues, across the river from the Claney-Bishop Lumber Co. The factory was originally built by William Deering for the Deering Harvester Company in 1880. In 1902 it became International Harvester's Deering Works. The factory was located at Fullerton and Clybourn Avenues and closed in 1933. |
