Farmall 460 Tractor Preparing Field for NFL Championship Game

Farmall 460 tractor with windbreaker and no. 46 baler removing twenty tons of hay from Green Bay City Stadium (now Lambeau Field) at 9 a.m. on the day of the National Football League (NFL) championship game between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants. The hay, which formed a one-foot padding on top of the field tarpaulin, had been on the field for weeks to protect it. The Packers went on to defeat the Giants 37-0. |
