The original caption reads: "International D-15 truck owned by Western Engine Co., Monahans, Texas, and used by this dealer for making delivery of power units. This 3/4 to 1-ton truck is equipped with a Tulsa winch No.21. A gin pole made of 2 1/2-inch pipe is used for lowering the engine in place. The gin poles are 11 feet long and will hold 3,000 pounds. The body was built by the dealer. Complete with the winch which cost $240, the truck and body cost $1,100." |
