The original caption reads,:"International PD-80 Diesel power unit recently purchased by the A.B. Carroll Lumber Company, Hurtsboro, Alabama. It is shown operating a sawmill south of Hurtsboro at the rate of 15,000 to 17,000 feet a day. This concern also makes use of ten International PD-40 Diesel power units. In photograph I-3096-BB is shown J.B. Robertson of the Valley Truck & Tractor Company, Columbus, Georgia, at right, and S.F. Maddox, sales promotion man, Atlanta.
