ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original caption reads: "For use in connection with its station in the spectacular new oil field at Snyder, Texas, the Chemical Process Company of Breckenridge, Texas, has just purchased ten LF-192 International six-wheel trucks each of 193-inch wheelbase. The LF-192 is one of the completely new recently announced L-line. Its maximum gross vehicle rating is 35,000 pounds. Each of these LF-192 trucks is equipped with a 1,000-gallon tank for the transport of acid for acidizing wells and a 4 x 8 Triplex heavy-duty high-pressure pump. Each truck also pulls a 4-wheel trailer on which is mounted another 1,000-gallon acid tank. The pump is operated by power take-off from the motor truck engine and will provide pressures up to 7,500 pounds. According to G.R. Whitney, vice president, the new Chemical Process Company's station at Snyder includes a 40 x 80' foot building to house the ten new International trucks and other equipment, a small office building and two 15,000-gallon rubber-lined steel storage tanks for the storage of acid. The Company's construction program also includes the building of ten three-bedroom dwelling houses. W. "Charlie" Richardson, district manager over four counties, who is in charge of facilities at Snyder, is shown in one of the accompanying illustrations talking to Truck Operator F.M. Williams. The Chemical Process Company makes use of a fleet of more than 100 trucks in the mid-continental area."
