Ragusa Company Truck
Man driving an International W-3042-L truck with a Trailmobile trailer down a dirt road. The truck and trailer were owned by the Ragusa Trucking Company. The original caption reads: "The Ragusa Trucking Company of 190 East 3rd Street, Pittsburg, California, has just purchased five big Western Internationals to be used for heavy long-distance hauling in Southern and Central California. Three of these are Model W-3042'L's equipped with Cummins diesel engine and trailing axle, and the other two are W-4064-L's with Cummins engine and dual drive. Each will be used with 35-foot flat-bed Trailmobile trailers. One of the diesel W-3042-L's is shown before delivery at the Trailmobile plant in Oakland hitched to a van-type trailer. All these trucks are equipped with the new Comfo-Vision cabs." |
