Capital Feed and Seed Company Truck
An International L-195 truck with a Fruehauf trailer drives through an outdoor storage area at Capital Feed & Seed Company. The original caption reads: "The Capital Feed & Seed Company, 312 South Fifteenth Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona, utilizes the recently purchased L-195 International with 35-foot stainless steel Fruehauf trailer shown to make two weekly trips a week to Los Angeles. On each of these trips the truck with the trailer hauls 20 tons of grain and feed and travels 500 miles a day. It is shown at the company's plant in Phoenix with sacked grain in open sheds shown in the background. The truck has a wheelbase of 157 inches. The company operates fifteen trucks of which two are tractor trucks." |
