Magnolia Petroleum Company Truck

A man is driving a truck marked "Mobilgas" which is owned by the Magnolia Petroleum Company. The truck is in front of several large petroleum storage tanks. The original caption reads: "One of four L-195 International trucks purchased by the Magnolia Petroleum Company for use in making deliveries from its San Antonio plant is shown at this plant. It is shown with Trailmobile tandem trailer, the tank of which is provided with five compartments. These L-195's travel 300 miles south, 150 miles west, 60 miles east, and 90 miles north, making deliveries to dealers and Magnolia's own stations. Some 52 motor trucks are based at the San Antonio plant, 43 of which are Internationals." |
