Elevated view of the twin caskets of University of Wisconsin president Glenn Frank and Glenn, Jr. in the Wisconsin State Capitol rotunda at the state funeral services. Seated in front of the caskets are Tom K. Smith (foreground), Mrs. Frank's brother; Mrs. Frank; Mary Jane Manierre, the woman Glenn, Jr. was to marry; and Roy L. Matson. The father and son died September 15, 1940 in an automobile accident south of Green Bay while campaigning for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate. |
