The following information and photo location were provided by a descendant of the Fischer family. This picture is one of the trucks of Otto Frederick Fischer, who owned the dairy at 350 Northumberland Avenue, Buffalo, New York. Otto Fischer and his wife Carolyn (nee Reimers) had the dairy on their property in Buffalo. The dairy opened in 1921, and after Otto's death in 1958, was run by Otto’s son Carl Otto Fischer Sr. until 1970, where it merged with the Sterling Amherst Dairy in Amherst, New York. Sterling Amherst became a property of Upstate Milk Cooperative. Carl Fischer was a co-owner of the dairy after the death of his father Otto Fischer in 1958. |
