Interior view of the Neenah Public Library. The library opened in 1904 and was funded with a combined donation of $20,000 from the citizens of Neenah and Andrew Carnegie. Notes in ink on the photograph. Lower left reads: "Interior Library, Neenah, Wis," and lower right reads: "Van Ryn & DeGelleke Architects, Milwaukee, Wis." In the large, open room are wood reading tables and bentwood chairs, and a magazine and display rack. There are chandeliers hanging from the tall ceiling. A large doorway opens into another room or hallway with a sink on the wall and a wall clock. |
