Town of Madison Fire Trucks
A reserve water tank truck with a 1,100 gallon capacity has been added to the town of Madison fire department to insure adequate water supply in fighting fires. Members of the department, Henry Johnson (right) and Grant Prideaux, are shown with the new apparatus which was assembled recently by the town mechanics. Attached to the rear of the truck is a portable pump which can be used to draw water from creeks, wells, or cisterns to fight fires. |
