| Basketball teams from Eau Claire and Beloit battle it out at the state basketball tournament in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Field House. Jack Ancerson (#24) of Eau Claire, is pictured at left as he is about to grab a rebound in the game his team won 54-53. Also seen are three players on the Beloit team: Gene Knutson (#44), Irv Sheperd (#22), and Carl Schuler (#31). Aubrey Olson (#35) of Eau Claire, whose last split-second basket won the game, is also included. |
