Marines Pulling Trailer from Mud
Marines use an International TD-18 Diesel crawler tractor (TracTracTor) to pull an ammunition trailer from the mud. The original caption reads: "JAPANESE ALLY--The island is tactically 'secured' but rivers of mud conspire with die-hard Jap [sic] individuals to make mopping up a rugged business on Okinawa. It is taking an International TD-18 Diesel crawler tractor to pull this ammunition trailer out of the waist-deep mire." |
