Madison Artists' Exhibition Winners
Richard Grossenbach, University of Wisconsin senior student from Madison, and Professors Robert Grilley and Roland Stebbins, University of Wisconsin, were the top award winners of the 1950 Madison Artists' exhibition. Grossenbach received the Madison Award of Excellence for his oil, "Fish Market." Roland Stebbins, Professor of Art Education, won the Oscar Mayer purchase prize for "House in the Hill," also an oil. Robert L. Grilley, assistant professor of art education, received the Frances E. Marshall award for a third oil, "Fish for Supper Again." |
