George Kaeser Residence
Exterior view of the George Kaeser residence, 5725 Old Middleton Road. The home features a Sauk City stone exterior and natural woods, linking the hillside building with its countryside setting. The home was designed by Kaeser's brother, William Kaeser. The enlarged bay window serves as the dining area of the living room on the upper level. The ground level windows belong to basement rooms. The home is designed with equilateral triangles forming the shape of the building. Kaesar developed room shapes by combining or dividing triangles, rhomboidal rooms resulted. |
