International Trucks for Seabees

International Trucks for Seabees | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
Elevated view of International trucks parked in rows in a dirt lot after being prepared for overseas shipment to United States Seabees. The original caption reads: "After International trucks and tractors are given their various tests, and are sprayed with rust-preventing compound for oversea travel, they are lined up with military precision in solid ranks as shown and are ready for immediate embarkation and the numerous war zone activities in which the Seabees continually engage them. Here in the front two ranks, with thirty-one units in each rank are Model M-3H-4 four-wheel drive, cargo trucks, or as they say at the base four by fours. Immediately back of these are two more solid ranks of four by four M-3H-4 dump trucks. Back of these are more and more solid ranks of International trucks as far as the camera would let one see."
