Gunn is named as the librarian of Black River Falls Library in the 2nd (1897-98) & 3rd (1899-1900) biennial reports of the Library Commission, during these years library was located in City Hall.  In 1900 the public library moved to the school building. In Fall of 1914 construction was started on a Carnegie funded library building that opened in 1915. The 4th (1901-02) - 21th (1935-36) biennial reports of the Library Commission (all this author has access to) list Annie C. Wylie as librarian.</p>
