Military Couples on Stairwell
Two soldiers link arms with two women wearing dresses at the Port Clinton Service Center. The men were former International Harvester employees, and likely belonged to the "Harvester Battalion." The men may have been stationed at Camp Perry, Ohio for training. The original caption reads: "PLENTY OF FUN HERE. Coming up the steps at Port Clinton Service Center are (left to right): Corp. Joe E. Grewick, formerly of McCormick Twine Mill, Chicago: Katie Walters, Port Clinton, Ohio; Sgt. Wm. C. Newman, Minneapolis branch; Kay Zipperly, Cleveland, Ohio." |
