Shown in uniform is Lieutenant Colonel H. Curtis Johnson who was a medical doctor in Madison prior to 1941. He served eight years in the army medical service. During the war, Colonel Johnson served as "sort of a family doctor" to Gen. Douglas MacArthur's wife and son, Arthur, as well as other war time and post war duties in the Far East. |
