Soldiers Shucking Corn
Three soldiers, formerly International Harvester employees and dealers, sitting on wooden crates to shuck ears of corn near a doorway. The men likely belonged to the "Harvester Battalion," and may have been stationed at Camp Perry, Ohio for training. The original caption reads: "AN OLD STORY IN THE ARMY. Not spuds this time but their equivalent in corn. Left to right: Fred M. Bourke, former dealer, Lewistown, Mont.; Worth A. Stewart, former dealer, Carriso Springs, Tex; Carl C. Moellering, from service shop, Fort Wayne branch." |
