Three men of the United States Coast Guard ride in the back of an International truck. The photograph was probably taken in front of Camp Chelsea. The original caption reads: "In the accompanying illustrations is shown a fleet of International K-5 & K-6 cargo trucks in convoy formation used to transport United States Coast Guard seamen with their gear to Camp Smith. In another illustration, a close-up of one of these cargo trucks is shown in front of Camp Chelsea in the heart of New York City, where men of the New York Port Security force are quartered." |
