Carl Syvertsen explains the surface search radar apparatus to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Timothy Brown and Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson at the United States Naval Reserve Surface Division 9-212 surprise party. The party was given by the officers for the enlisted men at the new training center, located at 1046 E. Washington Avenue. The training center has a complete duplication of the bridge of a ship. |
