Exterior view of Deitz cabin and barn, fences, and other outbuildings in winter, about two weeks after shooting of deputy. No members of Deitz family were present, but stock were still in barns, cared for by two young men. The shooting was done from the hayloft through a hole made in the roof.<p>John Deitz and his family and the Cameron Dam incident in which Deitz and a Sawyer County, Wisconsin, posse engaged in a shoot-out in 1910.
DESCRIPTION
