Early Bush Campaign
Oil company executive George H.W. Bush was chairman of the Harris County Republican Party in 1964 when he made an unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate. He gave this photograph of the campaign to journalist Rowland Evans, who covered the campaign, and inscribed the photograph "in memory of a Texas campaign. |
