Mrs. Florence Marquart, recently from Milwaukee, the new director of resident girls at the YWCA, shown at the left, enjoying a radio program with some of the young women who make their home at the YWCA. From left to right the girls are: Sylvia Song, Shanghai, who is studying for a PhD degree in chemistry; Lydia Monroe, Harvey, Illinois, a nurse anesthetist at St. Mary's Hospital; Jeanne Clancy, East Troy, a legal secretary; and Irene Van Horn, of Ft. Atkinson, a student at the Wisconsin School of Music. The Young Women's Christian Association is located at 124 North Carroll Street. |
