"W" Club Reunion
Members of the committee in charge of plans for the second annual reunion of the National "W" Club, to be held October 7 and 8 in Madison. Left to right, front row, are: Charles Esser, product agent at the Gisholt Machine Company; John Hickman, assistant swimming coach and physical of education instructor at the University of Wisconsin; Bill Aspinwall, business manager of the Wisconsin athletic department; and Dr. Al Tormey, president of the Madison "W" Club. Second row, left to right: Athletic Director Harry Stuhldreher; Riley Best, assistant track coach at the university; and Wally Mehl, assistant dean of the college of letters and science. The annual reunion will feature a noon luncheon at the Nakoma Golf Club, followed by the annual banquet at Nakoma that evening. Golf will be played at Nakoma during the afternoon. The final session of the annual reunion will be a noon luncheon in the field house on Saturday, Oct. 8, followed by the Wisconsin-California football game at Camp Randall. |
