The original caption reads: "Nos. 12 and 13 are pictures of a McCormick Wire Binder, purchased by Jno. Whiteside, Hecker, Monroe Co., Ill. Mr. Whiteside has used this machine very (sic) harvest since 1879, and expects to use it several years longer, providing he can secure wire. His testimonial speaks for itself. The Whiteside family are onw (sic) of the largest in that part of the country, and are good, first-class people." |
