Madison Gladiolus Society Annual Show
Theodore Woods and Mrs. T.R. (Madeline) Hefty admiring a vase of "Madeline Hefty" gladioli at the Madison gladiolus society's eighth annual show. Mr. Woods developed the variety over a six year period and named it for Mrs. Hefty. The red flower was to be introduced to the buying public in the fall and featured on the catalog cover of a least one national flower grower. |
