One of three images. Published in the Wisconsin State Journal on September 25, 1949. The original Gothic Revival summer home was lost to fire in 1873. The current, scaled-down version was built in 1879 on the home's preexisting foundation. The ice house and smokehouse survived the fire and exist in their original condition. |
