Early P&H 6-Ton I-Beam Cranes
Interior view of two early 6-ton Pawling & Harnischfeger I-Beam cranes, numbered 123 and 124. The bridges of both are an early "O" type used for short spans. The stencil on both cranes read "Pawling and Harnischfeger, Milwaukee, Wis. Capacity 12,000 Lbs." with the nearest numbered "123" and the farther numbered "124." There are two pieces of machinery along the right side of the picture that are stamped "The Pond Machine Tool Co., Plainfield, NJ, U.S.A." |
