Governor Authorizes University of Wisconsin Library
Governor Rennebohm signs a bill which will provide the University of Wisconsin with a new library. He is using a pen once used by President John Bascom. The pen and copy of the bill will be placed in a cornerstone of the new building. Looking on are Frank Sensenbrenner, Neenah, president of the University Board of Regents; University Librarian Gilbert Doane; Prof. Paul Knaplund; Ira H. Baldwin, University Vice-President, and Dean Mark Ingraham of the College of Letters and Science. |
