Advisory board members of the National Federation of Women's Republican Clubs being entertained by the antics of a circus elephant in the Capitol park during a pause in their tour of Madison governmental offices to see "grass root" politics in action. "Big Burma," the world's largest performing female pachyderm, is with the Mills Bros. Three Ring Circus which is being presented by the East Side Business Men's Association. Proceeds from the tickets sold went to raise money for civic improvement. |
