Manhattan International Showroom
International Harvester showroom (possibly part of a dealership or branch house) in Manhattan. The showroom featured an exhibit on an Attilio Gatti expedition to Africa. The exhibit included a ten-year-old International truck, the first to cross the Sahara desert. The sign above the truck reads: "10 years ago Sir Charles Markham and Baron Buxen-Finecke crossed the Sahara Desert in this International truck - First stock 4-wheel motor vehicle to accomplish this feat!" |
