Plowing after Pittsburgh Snowstorm

International (or Farmall?) tractor with Trojan Vee-plow removing snow in Pittsburgh. Original caption reads: "In a recent big snow storm which snarled Pittsburgh traffic, a Trojan one-man speed patrol equipped with Trojan Vee-plow was put to work on Thomas Boulevard. It is in front of the Old Westinghouse estate, which was willed to the city of Pittsburgh by George Westinghouse and is known as Westinghouse Park. The former stables are in the background. The regular 10-foot maintaining blade is in down position supplementing the clearing action of the Vee-plow. The Trojan patrol, which is powered by International M tractor, is a fast-moving one-man maintainer, its speeds varying from two to sixteen miles per hour." |
