Little Tavern Shops Metro Truck
A man holding a package standing next to an International model D-15-M truck with a 113-inch wheelbase and a Metro body. This truck was one of four International trucks owned by Littler Tavern Shops, Inc., a chain of restaurants located in Washington, Baltimore, and Louisville. According to the original caption, the company operated 45 restaurants in these cities and their suburbs, specializing in five-cent hamburgers. The four Internationals were all used in Washington and Baltimore and they have 41 shops in those two cities. Their trucks average 1200 miles a week. |
