Factory workers at International Harvester's 20 (Twenty) Millimeter Gun Plant operate a factory machine. Caption on photograph reads: "First machining of the bar stock for the barrel, 67.52 inches long when ready for final assembly, is to saw it off at both ends to a length of 70-3/32 inches. The original milling operation for this job has been replaced by sawing with a Sundstrand centering machine and a segmental saw 11 inches in diameter." |
