Not pictured is the dining room fireplace, designed by Mr. Bakke, which features a comfortable lounging area. The spacious family dream home, called Indian Hill and designed by the Bakkes, was constructed on an Indian burial mound. Mr. and Mrs. Bakke were president and vice-president respectively of Sub-Zero Freezer Company, Inc. One of nine images. Published in the "Wisconsin State Journal" on April 10, 1949. |
