Exterior of Elvehjem Museum of Art on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus at 800 University Avenue. The building is sheathed with Wisconsin lannon stone, with copper roof and trim. Most of the roof is skylights over the central area and the lower gallery wings. The museum, which was designed by Harry Weese, was officially opened in 1970. Bike racks and a bicycle are in the lower right. |
