Wisconsin's Twelve Democratic Electors
Wisconsin's twelve Democratic electors met at the Wisconsin State Capitol to cast the state's electoral votes for President Truman and Vice-President Barkley. Left to right, seated, are: Arthur L. Henning, Altoona; Attorney General Thomas E. Fairchild, chairman of the group; Carl W. Thompson, Stoughton; William D. Carroll, Prairie du Chien, and Arnold J. Miller, Portage, named in place of Charles W. Henney, Portage.
