Speranza's Neighbors Dig Basement for New Shop
Blooming Grove neighbors of John Speranza digging a basement for a new Speranza shop which will replace the one lost to a fire that also destroyed the Speranza home at 2606 West Broadway. Jack Philumalee, Route 3, at the controls of his cat-bulldozer, donated his time and equipment to the neighborhood project, as did the other men, standing in the pit with their picks and shovels. |
