Postcard
Water Street
Water Street showing a horse-drawn vehicle and storefronts looking toward a hill. The small building at the end of the street is the creamery. The text on the back of the postcard indicates the following: this is the scene before the "Flood of 1911." This street became a new river channel after that flood. The creamery indicated above was the first building to be destroyed on Water Street during the flood. |
