Page 58 of 70. Prophecy on page 57 reads, "We always knew that Robert Clough was a ready and fascinating talker with a smooth and ingratiating manner which would naturally open avenues of power to him. But never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined the height which our prophet assures us he is bound to reach. The inventer [sic] of the phonograph mouse-trap which lures the unfortunate mice to their fate by its seductive tones." Robert Clough chose a slightly more ordinary profession and became a farmer in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He attended the 1955 class reunion. Information about Robert Clough has been researched through contemporary newspaper articles. |
