Plankinton House
Elevated view looking east on Grand Avenue from the corner of Grand Avenue and 2nd Street. Plankinton Block was located between West Water (now Plankinton Street) and N. 2nd. It housed Plankinton House Hotel until 1915. People and vehicles crowd the road and sidewalk in front of the hotel. Flags fly from the roof. Caption at reads: "Greetings from Milwaukee, Gruss aus Milwaukee." Caption at bottom reads: "Plankinton House, Das Plankinton-Hotel." |
