Text at right reads: "If not called for in 10 days return to Plankinton House, Milwaukee, Wis. W. G. King, Manager." View looking east on Grand Avenue from the corner of Grand Avenue and 2nd Street. Plankinton Block was located between West Water (now Plankinton Street) and N. 2nd. It housed Plankinton House Hotel until 1915. Flags fly from the roof. Many horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians are in the street and on the sidewalk. |
