Madison Public Library
Postcard view of the Madison Free Library and its surrounding area. The library was built with Carnegie money and opened in 1906. The name changed to Madison Public Library in January 1959. This building was torn down in 1965 when the library moved to a new building at 201 West Mifflin Street. Caption reads: "Public Library, Madison, Wis." |
