Large ring gear that is a later component of a kiln drive. This product was purchased by Allis Chalmers and used by National Steel Pellet Plant. Original Falk caption reads, "31 foot-8 inch diameter quartered single helical rings gear with a 23 inch face. This picture of a large gear blank taken for possible future publications of interest in the large ring gear area." Male employees in photograph are Ted Lutzen and Joe Rozman. |
