Speed reducer that is a later component of a coal pulverizer. This product was purchased by the Foster Wheeler Corporation and used by the Public Service Company of San Juan Station, New Mexico. Original Falk caption reads, "4 units furnished 2197ZBX2-S speed reducer, double red right angle, horizontal input shaft, vertical up output shaft, 780 rpm in, 27.6 rpm out, ratio 31.417:1, service rating 537 hp, S.F.=1.5. Order included a portable turning gear and 140T35 HS couplings." Male employee in photograph is Tom Wolf. |
